So this is only my third brew. The krauzen is so thick on top, should I "skim" it off the top before I go to secondary?
 
Likewise... leave it alone for 2-3 weeks then check for final gravity then bottle.

Also do a search for "blow off tube". Use one for every fermentation. It may save you from cleaning krausen off your ceiling.
 
Thanks all, I just opened the lid to take a reading and sure enough it has fallen. My SG was 1.062 and is now reading 1.020 after a week(Peanut Butter Stout). iBrewmaster 2 is telling me I should be at 1.015 FG. I am gonna wait a few more days then off to the carboy to add my PB2(dry peanut butter)

What you are describing is called top cropping, and it is a great way to reuse yeast if you are good with sanitation and have another brew to throw it in right away. Otherwise, the advice you are getting to just leave it alone is good advice.
