my manifold came apart at the bulk head inside my MLT, i have 13lbs of grain, at 154 degrees in there...any suggestions? i have a pvc manifold, and i know it just needs to slip back into the bulk head, but its damn hot

let it mash then dump the contents into another container put the manifold back together and continue with the sparge.
 
good idea...i ended up finding some unused rubber gloves that insulated my hands from the heat for a few seconds...long enough for me to blow into the hose to unblock the grain from the bulkhead and slip the manifold back.

next time it might be smarter to just dump it, re-assemble and move it back like you said...
