I have had a number of request to show a full brewing session.

Should I do a segment on a full brewing session and what specifically would you like to see explained?

Thanks,

Gary

That would be a GREAT episode. What I would like to see the most is explaining of the recipe; what grains you chose and why, and why you chose the hops you did. How much grain/hops for the style of beer you chose, etc.

yep that would be legendary. I point some of my friends and family to some different sites that have a full brew, but each one messes up on certain things. One guys video series nails it, almost. His sanitation is poor, so I don't like recommending that one anymore.

Anything you do is well done, and well produced. You have a great character about you that does well on tv/video.

Are you thinking of doing an all grain video, extract video?..or both !!!

Thank you for the kind words. If I did a full brew segment it would be an all grain batch.

I would like to a see a version of both

My first couple of shows were geared to the beginner brewer using very limited equipment. However, I think both an all grain and an extract brewing session can be done. With the new yeast series starting soon, some extract brewing will be necessary.

What other thoughts do you all have?

Gary

I do extract but no AG so I would like to see an AG video, possibly explaining the equipment required for the AG-uninitiated. I'll give this some more thought, too.

EDIT: Further to this, I think an AG brew session in which each step is clearly explained so we can pick it up from there to make the move.

I'd love to see a full AG session, and I'd love it if it really took the time to explain everything for someone who hasn't done one yet... That'd sure be a help for me right now.

Thanks, for everyone's suggestions!

I will start scripting some segments focusing on doing an all grain brew. I think I will include everything including a yeast starter, grain storage, basically everything I use for brewing and perhaps costs involved. How does this sound?

Gary

That would be excellent for someone like me who is looking to move from extract to AG....looking forward to it!

Funny you should mention costs - I was just driving home and was wondering about AG and what the associated costs would be. Perfect - I look forward to the video.

I'm really new to brewing but can not wait to see this AG vid. This is why I started brewing and joined here.
