I'm gathering parts and I can't figure out what kind of circuit breaker I need for my panel. It's an old panel that has mostly GE breakers. They seem to be all kinds thqp, thql. There's even a Siemens QAP. I want to buy a 30 amp, double pole gfci breaker.
Here's a single pole breaker that I know will fit the panel:
Here's one I bought that has the wrong connection for the bus bar.
This one is a 30 amp, double pole gfci type THQL.
But of course, I can see the bus bar connection is in the wrong direction! I can't understand it as I have a type THQL breaker in there.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm getting pretty aggravated.
time for a homebrew!
