I planted 3 plants this year and was pleasantly surprised by my results in spite of everyone saying first year hops don't produce much. I'd like to brew something using only the hops I grew as a sort of harvest celebration beer. I realize the outcome is going to be a total crap shoot, since I have no way of measuring the IBU's. I'm a hop head, so I say lets throw em all in and see what happens!
So here's what I'm working with in dry weight:
.74 oz Nugget
1.78oz Fuggles
.7 oz Fuggles/Centennial (they tragically got mixed up when drying. I have since modified my drying methods!)
With all that fuggles, I figure I'm going to come up with something English! That bit of nugget and centennial could boost my IBU's. I've been in the mood for a nice earthy/woody beer like maybe an ESB or EIPA. What do you guys think?
