I'm brewing my first California Common. My pre-boil and original gravity readings were spot on with the recipe (1.046 and 1.054 respectively).
Pitched yeast Saturday afternoon in a bucket at 19 C (about 66 F) and got pretty steady bubbling overnight, increased to vigorous bubbling next day.
Now, 4 days later, I've reached my target FG of 1.014 (actually exceeded recipe target of 1.016).
I need advice - I will be leaving my batch unattended for another 10 days due to my personal schedule.
Would it be best to:
- Leave it in primary bucket
- Rack to secondary carboy
- Bottle
- Other???
