FYI - Northern Brewer plastic carboy BOGO (5 or 6 gallon) through midnight Wednesday 9/18. Use DUBBLEUP5 or DUBBLEUP6 as the promo code. I just got two six gallons for 35.55 delivered.

Thanks for the reminder. Got my two 5 gallons for less than $35 shipped, although I can't say I needed them. :)

I jumped on this too. Decided it was also time for an auto-siphon. Enough living in the stone age.

Me too!
Been wanting a 6 gallon better bottle lately so this was perfect timing.

Jumped on the 5 gallon deal i dont mind a good blowoff system for a cheaper carboy. Thanks for the heads up

I missed out on the 6 gallon Bubblers. They were sold out by the time I was ready to put in my order. But I grabbed 2 of the 5 gallon carboys instead. I included them in an order for some ingredients and the 2 carboys only added about $2 to what the shipping was for just the ingredients. So, I guess that means I'm getting 2 carboys for about $27. Not bad.

Just placed my order of 2 bubblers for the BOGO offer that is happening now! I didnt get an email about it so check the website for details!

Just ordered 2 - 6 gal. sight unseen. Always could use a couple more bottles at this price. Any reviews on these yet? Never mind. Just went back to the Northern Brewer site and see nothing but accolades. Cool, nice deal.

They are fan-freakin-tastic! SO much better than better bottles because they are so much stiffer. Better bottles suck back really bad when you pick them up, these don't. They also have a slightly wider mouth that makes the stoppers fit correctly. I always have problems with starsan wet stoppers staying in the mouth of better bottles, but not with the bubblers.

So what works best on these for primary fermentation.....drilled rubber stoppers or the orange carboy caps?
