I am working on an ESB recipe for saturday. I was inspired by the Ska Brewing mixed twelve pack of cans I picked up the other day.

I remember now that I like ESB:D

LHBS is having a "Homebrew Equipment Yardsale" so I'm gonna go see what I can get my hands on.

My LHBS is hosting a brew day party. They're inviting people to bring their equipment and brew there. Ingredients are 10% off, and they're roasting a pig! We'll be handing homebrew around :)

Sounds awesome but I'm gonna grill out and brew at the house as not sure we can do a party like that in Alabama since we aren't really legal.

I'll be there! I'll have a Dogfish Head hat on and I have a blue mash tun (old Budweiser cooler, I'll try to hide the Bud logo haha). Make sure to say hello! I'll be set up under my ez-up canopy, it's a tannish color. It should be a lot of fun, I can't wait!

some day........I too will go to a brew day where 20 to 50 people brewing all at the same time...........

Now along those lines you think we can get into the GB world records book by hosting the largest brew party ever..........(most people brewing at same time in same place kinda thing)?

Our club is hosting a registered brew out at North Mountain Park. We're raffling off a portable swamp cooler. I'll be brewing a citrus blonde.

I am doing a Berliner Weiss and depending on time I may do a Honey Basil Ale as well. Otherwise I will do that on Sunday. :mug:

Shameless plug for a local brewpub:

Limestone is hosting a Brew In on Saturday, May 1st to celebrate National Homebrew Day and the Big Brew. Homebrewers are welcome to bring their gear and setup in our parking lot from 9am-4pm. To help celebrate, I will donate base malt for your batch. Also, you will enjoy 15% off any food order if you come out and brew.... I also intend to have a tent up, just in case it rains.

Nice! I'll definitely say hello! Gunna be a blast!

I'm trying to focus on finishing all this school work so that I can just have the brew time to celebrate the end of the semester on Saturday!!!

NATIONAL BREW DAY!!!! Well I guess I'm going to have to figure something out. Wasn't planning on brewing this weekend (have a lot to do) but this changes everything. :)

National Homebrew Day!? To the Bee Cave! I'm trying the Haus Pale with some left over Riwaka hops instead of Cascade.

Cool! I didn't know it was National Home brew day either. I made plans with my buddy to brew, serendipitously enough.

I'm going to be doing two new tricks with my gear.

1. Back to back brews
2. 10 gallon batch

My buddy's going to be brewing up a IPA and I'm going to be making 10gals of Biermuncher's Centennial Blonde.

I got my scottish ale AG stuff ready to brew.......Now just got to figure out timing as I'm suppose to help SWMBO by watching little ones while she does a photo shoot for a retirement home............

It's going to be another awesome event at Cap and Cork in Macomb Michigan. The event gets larger and larger each one. At teach a friend on Nov 1 there were over 100 folks brewing and about 300 passing through and hanging out. IT was the stores biggest sales day ever.

Homebrewtalk will be well represented as usual. And I'll be brewing a Leffe Clone.

Brewing up 10 gallons of AG Haus Amber Ale (aka "Mother's Milk"), during the Death Storms.

Since it's "National Homebrew Day", can we start drinking about 7:00AM?

:drunk:

Going to a Cubs game tomorrow so I'll be celebrating NHD on Sunday. Brewing up an Irish Stout and an Hoppy Rye Ale. Om nom nom!

National Brew Day Starts at 12:01am so no reason to wait till 7.

A great LHBS (The Brew Hut, for CO folks) is hosting a get-together for Big Brew Day, so I'll be packing my rig in the car tonight and brewing in their parking lot tomorrow. Since TBH is directly attached to Dry Dock Brewing Company (GABF Small Brewpub of the Year for 2009), they will have plenty of hot mash water and cooling water available.

I'll be brewing 11 gallons of my American Rye ale (Pale malt, a Little Crystal, 15% Rye, Sterling and Willamette) and demonstrating no-chill methods. I'm going to no-chill half the batch and then dunk the chiller in the second half of the batch, so I can taste just how much no-chill affects bitterness.

I was tempted to see if Steve could give me a 20A circuit for my system, but I ain't up to brewing in the snow. :) I'll be by to say hi to everyone and pick up some grain though. Brewin' up another batch of Pliny the Elder tomorrow.

You guys that get to brew tomorrow suck. I forgot to plan in advance this year again (screwed myself last year also).

I'll be brewing on May 8th. May 1st will be dedicated to getting the garage cleaned out and ready to go for brewing on the 8th. I'll have to rack some beer around and drink a few pints tomorrow just so I've done something on National Homebrew Day.
