3 Gallons water> 8 Pounds of 2 row Briess>2 Pounds Flaked Rice> 120@15minutes 150@90minutes 180@15minutes> Sparged w/3 Gallons water 180 degrees>>>
1 Ounce Hallertau>30 minutes on burner until boil starts then 60 minutes>>>1 heaping teaspoon Irish Moss last 15 minutes>
Poured into Primary Fermenter yielding 4.5 gallons Wort>
Added Mangrove Jack M54 yeast and 16 ounces of Honey @65 degrees>>>
I use the same recipe w Wyeast 2007 when doing a batch for the reefer @48 degrees>>>
Gravity 1.4 before the honey so it may be a little higher>>>
Last reading 1.08
This is the first time I have used Mangrove Jack M54>
It only took 7 days for complete fermentation (unbelievable)>
I added 1 teaspoon of Gelatine and waiting for it to settle out before bottling>
I don't know what kind of a flavor Mangrove Jack M54 is going to have>
