Hi everyone. I got a new kit from the family for Christmas. Found this board and got lots of great pointers so far. Made my first batch yesterday afternoon (Amber Ale) and this morning I awoke to a bubbling airlock!

I've been reading the "How to Brew" book and its amazing how similar the process is to car detailing, which I do on the side. This is something I should have got into a long time ago, but better late then never!

Congrats on the kit, the first beer and finding this site. Ton of great info and helpful folks here ready answer any questions. Palmer's book is also a great source for getting started as well as some more advanced techniques.
