A friend had this sitting in his barn and gave it to me recently, and I can't figure out what heck it is. It has the same lid as my corny kegs, but the fittings are different and it came with two filters attached to the end of the spears inside (see photos). Also the fittings to connect to this are some sort of camlock, but much larger than what I typically have seen. It appears to hold about 10 gallons.

Has anyone ever seen one of these or know what it was used for?

More importantly, what can I use it for? I currently have a 3-keggle e-herms setup and do mainly 5-gallon batches. I was thinking this could make a good fermenter but its a little big for my batch size. Any ideas?

Looks like a vacuum milker jug, from an older dairy farm. Used to collect milk from automatic milker. Just a thought.
