I use a modified BIAB method of sorts that I've never seen published so here goes. I use this method since I haven't upgraded to separate pots for sparge and strike water. I have one pot with a spigot and bazooka filter.

Heat 5 gal strike water to temp (typically 168)

Add grain for 1 hr with occ mixing with heat/cool if needed for goal temp.

Strain via bazooka filter into a fermenter bucket.

Fill grain bed/pot with enough water for 6 gal (usually another 2.5 gal)

Heat to temp 171 (I mix through out to avoid hot spots in grain bed base) and let sit 15 min (first few times I did a whole hr but realized I didn't have to later on)

Strain into the same fermenter bucket.

Dump grain from pot into compost bin, rinse out pot

Fill pot back up with the wort and boil.

Today I am doing a holiday spiced ale and achieved 88% eff.

Nice, man. There are so many ways to brew good beer. I do the occasional BIAB. But, having started out using a cooler setup, I really prefer doing it that way. I just feels right to me.
But, I go back and forth with methods a lot, I need to pick one and stick with it. And I've been brewing for 5 years! Just like to change it up once in a while.
