Yesterday, I got my scores back from my first competition. It was the New England Regional Homebrew Competition at Red Hook in Portsmouth, NH. I entered the All-Amarillo IPA that is in the Recipe section on HBT. My average score was 36.5, a 36 from one judge and a 37 from the other. I would have been pretty pleased with a 30, so I am pretty excited about my actual score.
