1 day in now and it jumped from 70 to 78 ish...any reason to be concerened? I know 3711 can handle 85 degrees but I'm just curious what people think...

Someone just mentioned to me that this yeast at 80 degrees will wreck the beer!! Anyone have experiences with this strainer at a higher temp?

I did a Saison using a brew belt which generates heat at 75, so it was most likely closer to ~78-80 with active fermentation and it turned out awesome. I wouldn't worry.

I just brewed a saison with 3711. After a day my air died and the beer hit 90* during fermentation. It finished at 1.006 and tasted great. Don't worry.

Apparently 3711 is amazing!
