damn dude, you just continue to roll out the pimpy brewing implements! nice work, can't wait to see how that beer turns out.
Any pics from the brew session?
I ended up with 10.5 gallons. What was your batch size for the session pictured above?
Man that's a huge grain bill! What was your post-boil OG?
Sick fabrication skills BTW, you suck.
10 gal
25 lb 2 row pale
1-1/2 lbs ea 20 40 80 crystal
1 lb wheat
1272 yeast 2 liters on a stir plate
5oz cascade at 60
2oz cascade at 30
2oz ea at15,10,5,flameout centennial
dry hop 6 oz after 3 days
151 mash temp.
I have a plastic conical with temp. control I'll take pics and post tommorrow.
I would wait until primary fermentation is complete to dry hop... and with a 1.081 OG, it will likely take at least a week.
Thank you Mr.MongerSweet fabrication, just saw the thread and wanted to applaud you.
Hey, I was thinking about using one of those burners that you are using. Hurricane right? Can you tell me more about them?
Hey whats a M OR N between friends !Or aluminum for that matter![]()
I can't believe you friggin mirror polished keggles.... I am stunned. That brew stand is fantastic.. Take more pictures it will not stay that pretty, you are going to cry on your first boil over.. So you have these great fabricating skills your next job should be to buy a 15 gal stainless conical hopper and weld a couple fittings to it for your fermenter. I just bought a MIG out fit and am going to learn soon. Did you use argon or tri gas when welding your stainless?
amazing skills. I would love a stand like that.
I haven't seen anything like this, lehr...
Sublime... truly.
fabrication is the easy part...making good beer will be the hard part for me.
lehr - so, how's the beer tasting now?? You obviously have the fab part down!
Nice. What contests are you entering them into?
