Hi everyone this is my first post. I just wrapped up my first batch of brew a Bass clone and was interested in brewing up a California common. Ive looked around and found a couple of recipes, so I got brave a tried formulating a recipe of my own with help from the others and just wanted to see if any of the more experienced brewers could find any flaws in my recipe or give any advice. I took a look at the guidelines for this style and these ingredients seem to fit nicely at Tastybrew.com I'm pretty new so, here it goes.

4.5-5 lbs LDME
1Lbs American crystal 40L
.75 Lbs American Crystal 10L
.5 Lbs American Crystal 60L
.25 Lbs American Crystal 120L

.75 northern brewer-60min
.5 NB-30min
.5 NB-5min
.25 Cascade-5min
.25 Cascade-finishing

The cascade isn't really to style for a Cali Common, I would use all Northern Brewer hops. The grain bill looks good, are you using Wyeast 2112? Welcome to the HBT!
