I'm building a single tier brew stand and have run into a few questions. I live in Vancouver Washington and would really like to see anyone's stand the is near here to get ideas. The things I have run into is do I use a gas bar like the byo Brutus plans or an independent gas pipe? I plan on using 2 10" banjo burners. What height do I put the burners? What do you use to mount the burners? And a few others.

I work in a metal fabrication shop so I have a lot of options in the form of steel and milling options just need some outside input. I have been working on it for a while and I don't want to get burned out on it before I even get to use it. I always heard 4" was the minimum from the bottom of the pot to get complete burn. When I built my stand the lowest I could get was 3 3/4" and it seemed to work ok, but it could have definitely been better. To mount them I had a 5" piece of sheet metal welded into a square and drilled 4 holes so it could double as a wind screen. As far as a gas line I used a some flexible hose and 90 degree jets to make a compact setup with the valves I had.
Check out a few photos on a thread I made a while back.
