Yeah.. I never thought to check Lowe's... I'm headed to the nearest "big city" tomorrow and will check when I get up there.

And how's this for a small world... I lived in Washington Township for a couple years.. like 96-98 or so. :)

Man the new pics are amazing, the wife just said he only took up half the garage. Go Ahead lol

Alright Blue... I give it to you, that is one half bad ass brew pub.

One thing though... That is the weakest, saddest excuse for a TV I have ever seen.

Now don't get me wrong, I am completely jealous and if I were sitting there drinking your beer I would not complain a bit. But man I can see where your priorities are. Nothing wrong with that but I would have had a big TV before the brew cave.

Way to go though, that is one bad ass little tap house.

Hell with a big TV, with enough brews I don't care how big of a TV you have it will either put me to sleep or be too fuzy to watch anyways!

Give me the man cave/pub anyday of the week!

Update: I finally got another TV. Not great, but getting better...

Love the look of the keezer too... I will definitely copy cat when I have the space! Where's the lazy boy?

Im so jealous i could punch you.

Thanks!

My wife has been very good to me.

If I had a lazyboy in there, I would never leave....ever. Even though I have a big screen tv in my living room, I watch all my football and hockey in there. Hell, I instruct the pizza delivery guy to knock on the garage door when he gets here on game day.

Thanks again for the compliments.

Sorry for resurrecting this thread once again, but here is is an update on my garage tap room. As you can see, there has been quite a few additions. Most recently, my wife gave me a custom chalk board for the door.

I am still amazed how far this project has come. Thanks to all who have inspired the various parts of the room.

Since I kinda know what it's supposed to look like, that's a fantastic room. But, those pics are very fuzzy. Maybe the host is displaying the smaller version or a thumbnail?

Thanks for the kind words. Here are some larger pics. Thanks again.

Wow, that is just awesome blue. Good for you! I wish I had a spare room to convert. Cheers!

So I figured out a way to expand my taproom to the other side of the garage while maintaining some storage space.

Also, after watching a documentary featuring some old English drinking establishments, I got the idea to add some exposed beams to the ceiling for a more "pub" feel.

Still checking craigslist for a old man, dressed in tweed, to smoke a pipe in the corner....

It's only a matter of time before you figure out a better storage solution that doesn't involve the garage... and what was once a cozy little taproom will wind up a full-fledged pub, complete with a bar and pub tables!

Brilliant work.

I don't know how I ended up here, but holy cow this is awesome. Makes me want to figure out how to make my current garage woodshop into half woodshop, half tap room.
