My LHBS is closing...

Well since the "other" homebrew shop opened across town six months ago I knew that this was a possibility. The new one has more products at a better price plus it is part of a brewery. Bummed to see the little one go though..it has been there forever and was only five minutes from the house. Plus it offered CO2 tank fills and the new LHBS doesn't. I guess the good part is they are looking to liquidate everything dirt cheap!!

MrSuds is closing?!? Im gonna have to jam over there today and snag some stuff. Are they just getting rid of their LBHS stuff or they closing the whole place?

That sucks, I always hate seeing a small business close. Good luck to them.

It does suck to see them close but.....honestly it wasn't a very good homebrew store. There was only one employee who actually brewed and knew what he was talking about. They also never really tried to get the local homebrew club's support..i.e. club discount, bulk grain buy, homebrewing classes, etc...Pretty sad when most of the local homebrewers buy online rather than support the LHBS because of poor selection and high prices.
