I have a side by side frig that I made into a kegerator. The freezer is perfect for mugs and the frig is big enough to put bottles in as well as a 1/2 barrel or multiple 1/6 barrels.

My only problem is that the beer is not cooling below 42 degrees. A refrigerator thermometer says the frig is 30 degrees. Have any of you had this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it?
Thanks

The keg should eventually reach equilibrium with the air temp in the fridge. I presume you're measuring temp of pour? Perhaps the room temp beer in the tap is messing up your measurement.
