I am a new brewer, and just brewed my first batch on Wednesday night.
To view the fermentation in progress go to [ame]http://youtu.be/cUXe_QyRM4w[/ame]
To me it looks like a textbook fermentation. I'm so stoked to see where it goes!!

Looking good, just keep it covered with that blanket. I assume you have it in a room sitting in the low 60s?

I just brewed my first all grain..... It looked disgusting while in that primary phase. I keep it in a closet under the stairs, loved listening to my wife bitch that it smells like rotting bananas, and that it looked gross!

Disgusting? Never!:p

I've been brewing off and on for 20 years, ferment in glass and I still LOVE to watch fermentation happening. It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful things I get to see in the natural world. This great roiling, heaving, LIVING nectar of the Gods! You may think I'm crazy after all these years, but when I have a batch fermenting in my cabinet, I spend several minutes a day watching in delight, and smelling the bready, delicious aroma, ah...

Welcome to this strange and wondrous art of Beer-making that has been delighting and mystifying humans for thousands of years!

Cheers, Brother, and brew on!

Man..... That's dedication to the craft! I'm a set it and forget it guy!
