I just made my first my first extract brew. This wasn't a kit. It was just ingredients I thought would be good. It's a stout and I would like opinions on the choice of ingredients. I already cooked it and it looked great but just wanted some experienced advice.

It was a 5 gallon batch recipe.
OG: 1.040-1.042
Boil time: 60 mins

1lb English Roasted Barley
1lb Weyermann Choc Wheat Malt
1lb English Dark Crystal Malt
1oz UK Kent Goldings Hops (60mins)
3.15lbs Dark Malt Extract Syrup
3lbs Plain Extra Dark DME
WYEAST 1084 Irish Ale Yeast

One of my questions is, did I use too much grain?

Any and all input is appreciated. Thanks guys!

Nothing glaring that I can see.

I looked at a Midnight Stout recipe (AG) that was 67% base malt and 32% specialty (Chocolate(13%)/Roasted(13%)/Wheat(7%)
