Added notes to my original post (in bold). Any advice for a first time bottler?

I agree that it is not nearly as hard as it seems. One thing that comes in handy is something to put the bottles in once they are filled but before they are cleaned and dried. I picked up a plastic "busboy" tray that I use to hold the bottles. I came to this after I got a good amount of beer on my boxes the first go round.

Also, make sure you are enjoying a beer while you bottle. It makes things go much more smoothly.

Your dishwasher is your friend. I put sanitized bottles in it and take out as I bottle. And always bottle over the dishwasher door to catch spills.

+1 I do this to, it is just so easy. My wife doesn't mind because I always run the dishwasher just before I'm ready to bottle, it sanitizes the load so when I unload the dishwasher it's ready for sanitized bottles. When I'm done bottling I just close the door and run a 'rinse' cycle. Easy.

Found extra time in my schedule Sunday and bottled! Notes in my original post.

Also bottled up a little cider project I worked out, but that is for another thread. :D

I'm not sure how I missed your original thread, but Thanks for the entertaining read! Brewing is the perfect combination of cooking, chemistry and biology, and you get tasty beer at the end. What could possibly be better? Cheers:mug:
