Thinking about doing this recipe for my first AG batch. Any suggestions or comments?

Mock Bock Bock

As my astute co-brewer noticed, the boil time is listed as 950 minutes. this cannot be correct. im thinking its either 95 minutes or 50. any input? also the recipe is for 2.7 gallons. i can safely double the contents correct?

Looks fine...I thought the 12oz of 2-row was a mistake until I saw the batch volume. Kind of an elaborate grain bill, though... I'd be tempted to go for a standard 5g batch with 3-4 grains if it were me, but in reality once the grains are ground and in the tun it doesn't really matter if there were 2 types of grain or 15 in terms of the complexity of the operation.

I find the OG & SG "out-of-wack". I've never heard of making two irish moss additions (not even by the manufacturers of irish moss). Irish moss takes about 15 minutes to dissolve, so the second one is wasted. Ditto on grain bill, way too complex. The mashing schedule doesn't make any sense. Acid rests: A. aren't needed with today's grains and B. are typically several hours. "...5 min. at 156, followed by 90 min. at 152." Just plain weird. I wouldn't try this myself.
