Here is my build.

$25 dollar Craigslist TV Armoire

Insulation to line the armoire:

I removed the cooling system from a coolant-free mini fridge

Shelves removed:

One shelf was moved to the bottom:

One was to attached to the ceiling, I filled the space with standard insulation inside:

3/4" pink insulation board on the bottom:

And on the top:

And the sides with the 1" insulation:

Doors

Cut square hole in back to mount the cooling system and fans and taped seams with insulation tape:

2X4 mounting plate for the cooling thermal heat sink:

Mounted the heat sync control board on back mount:

Looks sharp anywhere in the house:

I am building a DIY temp Controller and am using a paint can heater for the heating

You have temperature control. What about odor? Fermentation has a distinct aroma.

That cabinet looks good. I have a similar piece of furniture that I was thinking of converting. Thanks for the ideas.

Nice build, and interesting application of a Peltier cooler. Have you tried one of these before? I've played with these widgets before in other areas (e.g. fish tanks), and I've almost always been disappointed with the results. I hope your experience is better!
