My definition of the perfect day....

Brewing and BBQ'ing..... Are there two hobbies that go better together? I think not.

Last weekend I fired up the smoker and smoked a pork butt and a turkey breast. While the smoker was doing its thing I brewed a Saison. Very nice day.

Top it all off with a few pints by the fire pit with some good company and you've got perfection.

But seriously folks,I bottled an Irish red yesterday & fired up the pit. Made stuffed burgers & two kinds of sausage with fried fresh corn.

I think we're all speaking the same language here. Hef and smoked ribs - done several days apart. Now I just need to combine the above into 1 enjoyable event.

I've really got to get out of this little apartment and into a bigger place with some outdoor space! All of these pics are giving me cabin fever. Not to mention how damn hot it gets in here when I brew....

You guys got a kegerator on that boat yooper? That is a good combo indeed ..... Although, carrying the pint glass gets a little tougher when I am trudging up a trout stream flyfishing
