2 ten gallon stainless steel pots! They are of extremely sturdy construction.

And the best $100 for both.

Now to place an order for a valve for the boil kettle and to decide on whether to go for a valve, thermometer and sight glass on the second pot.

Question?:

I have a 30qt turkey fryer aluminum pot. Would you add a valve thermometer and sight glass to it HLT, or to one of the SS pots?

I foresee only 5 gallon batches. I like brewing and variety so I will do smaller batches more often rather than large batches.

I will be adding a valve to one for a boil kettle.

I will still have the option of converting one to a HLT at a later date.

I also have a 30qt aluminum turkey fryer pot and I don't think I'd add a valve/sight/thermo to it as I don't think its worth it for that pot. What are you using for a MLT?

I'm using a converted 10 gallon Rubbermaid water cooler. I went the water heater supply line route for the SS braid. It has worked very well to one partial mash and 4 all grain brews so far.

I'm also using the turkey fryer burner for both the HLT and Boil.

I really want a valve and thermometer, at least for a HLT. I will be using gravity for quite a while.

In that case, I'd convert the two SS kettles, one into your HLT with your sight/valve/thermo and the other into your BK. Use the turkey fryer pot for... I don't know? Turkey? :D

I'm using a converted 5 gallon cooler as my HLT, 10 gallon for my MLT and I have a new 60qt pot for my BK that I need to install valves and such on.
