I bottled a sour 10 days aho
It has a odd smell
It almost smells like oxidation

But I used a siphon to transfer and a bottling wand to fill

All my bottled beers get this smell to thrm and Idk why

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's probably oxidation.

I have some instructions for low oxygen bottling here:

I literally soaked the caps filled it to the top of the wand and capped them tight. I don't get it

I did a wheat with the same equipment. Just diffrent caps and it tatse fine

Is it the bottles that smell or the beer? What is your bottle cleaning & sanitizing process?
The beer smelled cause I poured into a glass

I fill my bottle bucket with a cap full of starstan fill it to 1 gallon and swish it. Empty it through the spiket to a large bin where I ket my bottles and caps sit 6 bottles, swush them empty and fill
