It's a love affair, namely Jesus and my hot rod.

Yeah, *uck it.

If you happen to be a Gen-Xer that is interested in learning more about this absolute gem, click here. It's Uncle Al being strung out and Gibby, being...well, Gibby.

If you only know ProTools, know that all the punches were physically cut in on tape. This is a brilliantly amazing feat of engineering. Yeah, there are some really ugly ones, but they work within the song, right? My jaw drops whenever I hear this, it sounds so organic and wholistic. Also, I'm not knocking ProTools, I do all my recording in Reaper and I'd joyously commit murder rather than go back to my old 16-track.

Rejoice, be merry, and enjoy the full glory of the 12" This is brilliance mixed with a fearfully copious administration of amphetamines.

Uncle Al was f'ing amazing--those compressors are stupid.

I first heard this song after Braconniere posted it a match and really like it so I have listen to many since, but last night while listening to it again if finally dawned on me that the lyrics sounded like a butthole surfers song. It did not take long to find the song I was thinking about,"Some Dispute Over T-Shirt Sales".

Thanks for the link, the back story is a good one too.
