So, what is the general concensus? Is he taken seriously over there?

I take every politician serious. every last one of them is more dangerous than the plague.

Yes Mr Trump is taken very serious! A large part of the population likes what he says. He will be influencing the republican party and steering the discussions for quite a while.

Not really...I mean he has said several things that are literally unconstitutional. Don't know how he can handle being president if he doesn't understand how our government works.

Frightening to see how popular he is.

When you first recognize that every politician is a slimeball ********* idiot, then he's just the same as all the others. I take them all equally serious.

I don't take him or any other politician very seriously but, unfortunately, it appears that many here do. What scares me more about him than most is that he appears to be quite popular despite or because of what he says. If polls are accurate, I'm disappointed in a large percentage of my compatriots.
