When would it be a good time to consider moving from 1 to 5 gal batches? I'm still trying to find a recipe that suits me so I'm not in a rush to jump up in size that soon. One of my concerns is that I feel like I am going to start collecting a lot of 1 gal carboys in the near future. I only have two now, but can easily see that jumping up to the 5 range.
I'm trying my best to find a recipe to mimick Crispin The Saint and the old Strongbow that was nice and dry. If anyone has recipe suggestions, please let me know.
