Mounting a SSR with heatsink in a PVC box

Any ideas on how to mount a SSR inside the PVC box with the heat sink on the outside? I have seen people cut a slot down the side of the box and slide the heat sink down the slot like in the picture below. I was trying to think of a better way to do this but maybe I just need to cut a slot. Thanks!

That heat sink was intended for DIN rail mounting. Nothing wrong with that, but the way I would do it, would be to cut a hole the size of the SSR in the box, then get a heat sink that is larger than then the SSR, mount the SSR to the heatsink and then the heat sink to the box.

Yeah I ended up ordering the heat sink below, I think it's going to make for a nicer install.
