more sanitation questions

Well i went and sanitized a 6gal carboy and my syphon tube with iodophore(sp?). I completely forgot about the fact that they are supposed to soak for 2 minutes and then be taken to air dry. I left them in over night, and now the syphon tube is stained that iodine gold color. My question is whether or not I can still use this equipment or is it going to make the wine that i rack into it taste bad/like iodine. Do i need to buy new stuff or clean this somehow or can I just go ahead and rack it?

Iodophore will stain pretty much anything no matter how long you leave it and you can't clean it. Don't worry about it, just let it dry according to the directions. I have seen iodophor that you had to rinse. Make sure it's the no rinse variety. If it is, go for it. Luck - Dwain
