Great article until they lost all credibility...

Seriously, no check to see if that is even a real quote???

I agree with everything in the article but it is very poorly done. [paraphrase]Beer is good for you, but you still shouldn't really drink it. Have water and fruit instead.[/paraphrase]

It sounds like they mean its just better to have water/fruit right after a workout as opposed to a beer - not that you shouldn't drink beer altogether. There's not too many people who would argue that beer is better for you right after working out. I think the point they were trying to make was that it can help re-build muscle and hydrate when you have one several hours after a workout.

I ran a 13 mile training run on Sunday. When I got in, I went directly to the kegerator and poured myself an IPA.

I made it. I saw what went in it. It's almost all water. :D
