So some may have seen this on my FB site but I wanted to post it here...

Moonbeam (SWMBO) has brewed her first beer! It took me a while to get this formatted for Vimeo in HD but I have succeeded I think...

Two parts if yall care to watch showing a bit more footage of Brutus Ten in action... It was fun shooting this with my little flip cam... I am surprised it came out so well!

Very cool Lonnie,

Brutus 10 has made me a much better brewer - thanks again!

I don't think I want my wife discovering the joys of homebrewing though, this is one thing I enjoy doing on my own!

Nice!

I like the setup with the water grant, though I was a bit surprised there wasn't a valve at the bottom to pump the water up to the HLT. :D

Actually there is... But I had to make her do at least something "old school"! :)

Almost broke out all my old gravity drain system. But she wanted to brew it up on Brutus...

Well here is part three... Getting there! It is tasting great!

Silly I know, but I am having fun playing with videos and watching the wife brew a beer for me for once!

Moonbeam transferes the Barleywine...

Yep. She picked out the BCS Barleywine recipe to a tee... Cal Ale WLP 001... OG 115 and today it was down to 28... Wanted to see it a bit lower, but it will sit in the secondary for some time. In any case, it taste pretty dang good for her first batch!
