Modifying Pub kegs (50L or 11GAL)

has anyone had any luck modifying (legally obtained) 50L or 11GAL (in imperial) pub kegs for home brew use? i have a few ideas of my own but it would be interesting to see some other ideas/methods first before i put my ideas into practice.

I have 3 at the mo.(with more to come) and am itching to get them filled with my home brew.

Videos can be found on youtube, which will show you how to open them up. After that it's as simple as finding an effective cleaning method, filling them with beer and using what I believe is called a "type D coupler" to pressurize and dispense the beer. Or at least this is my understanding ha ha.
