My wife and I recently got a wine kit and added the water. It said to rack to a secondary after a week. Unfortunately, we missed this date by two weeks due to unexpected events. Were this my beer, I wouldn't be concerned and don't usually secondary anyway, but it seems like it's more important to the wine.

Any advice on what I should do? I could rack as-is into a secondary, but it seems to want some amount of yeast/particulate in suspension at the time of racking.

Thanks!

Awesome - thanks all. The instructions were so strong in the "must be transfered now" statement I was a little concerned. Will rack tomorrow!

If it were me, I would skip secondary and go to clearing and degassing (still requires racking). It is most likely done fermenting by now.(check with a hydrometer of course)
