minibrew conical off flavors

Hello everyone
Does anybody use the minibrew conical fermenter? And if so does anybody else get off flavors from it..i am a cleaning/sanitation freak, but still get off flavors

If you get a plastic smell, put it out in the sun for a few hours, then clean it.

Thats excatly what i get a plastic off flavor and smell..i will give it a go and put it in the sun or else i gotta save up and get a SS conical. thanks cheers
