milled grains

how long will milled grains be good for??? where should i store them???

I've had milled grains sit for a month or so with no perceived problems and I store them in a cool, dry location in my basement. You do not want humidity or moisture getting to the grains, or rats, mice or other creepy crawlers either.

If you can heat seal them in a bag and you can buy some time with them.

never thought of that!! i will probally heat seal them and store them in my mash tun.
