Just wandering if anyone has done the Happy Holiday Ale kit from Midwest Supplies. From reading the description, it sounds like it would be a good tasting brew for the holidays. I am thinking of doing it this weekend, and am looking for any feedback as to what you would change, or what your thoughts were on it. I would be leaving in primary for at least 3 weeks, and then transferring to a keg, but I don't know that that would make any difference.

I will be doing that kit today. I'll let you know it turns out. It'll be my first batch.

I've made that kit and I liked how it came out but be aware that since this is a dark beer it may take some time to get to its prime. It will be pretty drinkable by Christmas but better by Valentines if you brew it today.

Thanks rm, I was concerned about the aging of this one. It didn't seem like it'd be one that I could turn out in 3-4 weeks.

Thanks for the info. I might open a few on Christmas and put the rest away for when we move into our new home if it's completed by then.
