Looking to move up to a larger scale all-grain production and want to put our own system together, but having trouble finding reliable info on pots. Anyone know how well the Midwest Supplies pots perform? And also, we've got a line on someone to do the welding. TIG, specifically. Anyone know if these pots take to TIG? The manufacturer could only tell us they're 18/8, which in theory should TIG fine, but if someone has experience with them it'd be great to hear. Or any other pots. We already know about MegaPot. Polarware doesn't go as big as we'd like (that we could find), and we've been told to avoid anything that says Update International.

The kettles they sell will weld just fine. They are actually Update International brand, the same used by MoreBeer. MoreBeer use to TIG them in house and now orders them TIG welded.

BTW:
I needed to order a kettle and went to to their site. Their shipping is more than double Instawares.com for the same kettle (SPS-60)
