I was capping, and one of my bottles got stuck in the capper. I ended up getting it out and it had a deep dimple in the top of it. Should I let it be, or recap?

Some folks dimple intentionally, some don't, it doesn't really matter either way. You'll be fine.

You're actually gonna get a bunch of folks coming on saying, "what do you mean you don't dimple?"

Dimple is good! Makes me think I have a good seal. I get worried when I don't have a dimple.

I get them all the time. Maybe I crimp too hard. :)

Also, it looks like you are using different bottles for the same batch. This is perfectly OK, however I've noticed that certain bottles lend to a different bottling crimp. Some might always give the dimple and others never.

My Red Baron capper (pizza capper, whaaat?) hangs up on certain craft bottles. It hung up on one of my Suporro bottles for the 1st time yesterday. Never had a problem with those til then.
