Received my two other keggles today from PedalBiker. I had purchased the boil kettle from him a few weeks back. The MashTun has a false bottom he made and seems very sturdy. The HLT has some modifications made to it that I requested. I had him add two additional 1/2" couplers above the ball valve coupler for a HERMS coil and a 1" coupler in place of the site valve coupler for an electric heating element. I have two 6" thermowells I will use instead of thermometers in the MashTun and HLT.
To initially heat the HLT I will use propane, then I will switch over to the electric heating element controlled by a Ranco. The MashTun will be hooked up to a march pump controlled by another Ranco to recirculate the wort through the HERMS coil.
