So, I officially started my first batch ever of Homebrew. I end up going with the Graff cider. I think I may have made an oopsy though. After I pitched the yeast, I stirred it with a thoroughly sterilized stainless spoon and then took my original gravity reading. Suggestions? Comments?

I wouldn't worry about it and trust the reading. It's not like having yeast in there is going to affect the reading because when you take subsequent readings, yeast will be in there.

If it was right after you pitched the yeast and not, say 12 hours later, you're perfectly fine to trust the reading. The yeast haven't started doing their work yet and they won't affect the hydrometer.
