All of my family is from Whiting, Hobert and Gary which they “claim” is a suburb of Chicago. So my bad!

My mom actually worked at the Teamsters when Hoffa was there. She thinks he’s under Giants stadium.

I went to Purdue, and all the people from that area referred to it as "The Region" and acted like they were Chicagoans. Having grown up in the Chicago burbs, I can tell you that nobody west of the state line considered them to be ours ;-)
