So I’ve made mead a few times and it’s been a while since my last batch,a couple of years to be more like it but even after letting it sit for so long it seem to still be a bit hot at the front.i guess my question is,what is the perfect abv for a mead that doesn’t kick you in the face like a pissed off mule.if I remember right all my batches came out between 12 and 15 % abv,I think,it’s been a while so I might be off but not by much.looking for an abv that is enjoyable, and not looking to get hammered or waste my time drinking a beer strength mead.all advise and answers are welcomed but don’t be a dick as i am still new to this.
