Hi all!
I am just starting to get into home brewing, so please forgive me if some of my questions are no-brainers for experienced eyes
My plan for now is the following:
I have an electrical preserver http://translate.google.at/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.klarstein.com/Kuechengeraete/Kuechenhelfer/Biggie-Einkochautomat-Edelstahl-27-Liter-2000W-Timer.html&prev=search
for mashing with a filter at the bottom for lautering.
So far so good.
My question is, whether you guys think it is possible to lauter the mash into a pot, clean the preserver and transfer the mash back into the preserver for wort brewing?
That way, I will not need a separate pot for brewing the wort.
Are there any obvious disadvantages to this method?
Thank you all for your help!
