Hi all! I have been home brewing from extract kits for about a half year now. I'm interested in switching to using making a brew from "scratch" rather than a kit. Do you have a simple recipe suggestion? As for my taste, I am a wheat drinker. My favorite non home brewed beers are any Sam Adams beer, especially cherry wheat.

If you want to formulate your own recipe, the best thing to do is look at other recipes, see what you like and what you don't like, and adjust levels accordingly. As far as wheat beer recipes go, this is still one of my favorites: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f70/litehaus-wheat-boulevard-wheat-clone-34642/
It's one that the SWMBO enjoys, as I do in the summer time. Last time I did it I upped the wheat malt and the flaked wheat to make it really shine through.

Do It!!!!!
