Hi.

I´m about to make a mash tun and I was wondering about what setup I should use.

The first bear that I´m going to make is a wheat beer and I´m afraid of a stuck mash and where I live (Iceland) I can´t get rice hulls to prevent that.

So dose anyone know what is the best way to make a mash tun to prevent a stuck mash, should I use a false bottom, stainless steel braid or something else.

I use a stainless braid taken from the flexible hot water heater pipe at the hardware store. Not sure if you have that, but its a bigger diameter stainless braid that wont crush under the weight of grain. I have done 33% wheat, 33% rye, 33% pale malt beer with no stuck sparge. It was slow, but not stuck.
