Hi all, I have a 3 keg brewery and have been wanting to have a motorized stir paddle for the mash tun . I have now come up with a right angle drive dc motor so all I need is to find the correct power supply (that means cheap ). When I direct fire the mash to raise temps it is of course much warmer on the bottom and stirring by hand does not seem to even out the temps much. I hope by constant stirring that it will eliminate any hot / cold spots and maybe help out with the efficiency even , any thoughts on it like r.p.m. , stupid idea etc.
